Microsoft has stated that it would end support for Windows 10 in October 2025, across all editions, including Home, Pro, Pro Education, and Pro for Workstations. Support will cease on Oct. 14, 2025.

The announcement, first reported by Thurrott on Sunday, indicates that Microsoft will cease support for the operating system after a ten-year life cycle.

Microsoft has only recently released the Windows 10 May 2021 update (version 21H1), but the company is expected to introduce “the next generation of Windows” during a virtual event next week, on June 24.
