Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G and the Galaxy S21 series are among the first smartphones from the South Korean manufacturer to receive the June 2021 Android security patch, even before the month has begun. In parts of Europe, the Galaxy Z Flip 5G is being replaced, with South Korea being the key location for the Galaxy S21 collection replacement. Additionally, Samsung has apparently updated its Galaxy A32 5G, which will receive the May 2021 Android security patch, as well as certain bug fixes and security enhancements, in Vietnam and Thailand. Samsung is expected to roll out updates to various places fast.
According to SamMobile, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G will receive the June 2021 Android security patch in Austria, the Baltic region, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, France, Hungary, Italy, the Nordic international locations, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom with the firmware model F707BXXS3DUE1. Samsung has not yet disclosed the fine print of the changelog for the clamshell-style flip phone’s replacement.
Additionally, the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra will receive the June security patch, but only in South Korea. The three smartphones are equipped with software versions G991NKSU3AUE8, G996NKSU3AUE8, and G998NKSU3AUE8, respectively. Samsung has also not released the changelog for the Galaxy S21 collection’s replacement. SamMobile was the first to report the change.
Additionally, Samsung updated the Galaxy A32 5G, addressing three critical vulnerabilities and 23 Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures devices. The Android security patch for May 2021 is included in the replace. According to SamMobile, Samsung is updating its 5G smartphone in Vietnam and Thailand. There is no information available regarding the firmware version of the smartphone.
Additionally, there may be no information on the size of the updates. However, it is still beneficial to keep your smartphone up to date while connected to a strong Wi-Fi connection and charged. On an eligible smartphone, navigate to Settings > Software replace > Download and set up.
